Need someone to care for your fur baby while you’re at work? Renovating your home and want your dog to be safely out of the way?
Our doggy daycare in Bedford provides your dog with the opportunity to interact and socialize during a full day of playtime supervised by our loving staff. All guests will be able to play with their friends outdoors (weather permitting) or indoors with a mid-day nap.
The staff at Bedford Veterinary Medical Center provides supervised, safe play for dogs. Dogs are matched to play with other dogs with a similar energy level and size, so that dogs of all ages and energy levels are properly socialized and exercised. Dogs who prefer a lower energy, are provided a more relaxing space where they can enjoy soft beds and relaxing belly rubs from our staff.
To ensure the safety of all of our guests, we require the following of all dogs in our care:
All dogs are required to be evaluated by an Animal Care Coordinator to make sure they are a good fit for our Dog Daycare program. This will be set up after receiving your Dog Daycare Registration form.
Records for up-to-date Bordetella (Kennel Cough), DAPP or DHPP (Canine Distemper), and Rabies. Puppies must have received at least two rounds of their initial DHPP Puppy vaccines and have received Bordetella. Dogs are required to be spayed or neutered by 6 months. All dogs must have a negative fecal test.
All dogs in our care must be dropped off with a collar with a side-release clip as well as a name tag (or with a name visibly embroidered on a collar).
Dogs who are ill (i.e., those with symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, or coughing) are not permitted in our facilities for the safety of our other pets.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation with these requirements.
